The sun had just risen overhead as a small figure made her way to the castle of Cair Paravel. She looked pale, but determinded. So far so good, Alyissa thought, glancing down at her horse. The mare tossed her dark brown mane over and she snorted. Aly smiled as she gently rubbed her nose, telling her to calm down and everything was alright. If anything, she should have been telling herself that. Alyissa shrugged, her bluish green eyes revealing nothing of her thoughts. Her face was quite expressionless and a little bit stony as well. I had made it this far without being caught, lets not make it happen, she thought as she gripped the horse's mane gently with her hands. The horse, whom she had named Brownie, shifted, sensing that her mistress was uneasy with something. Alyissa didn't even noticed. Her gaze was on the castle, which grew bigger as she drew nearer.
She had never before appreciated the beauty of things. Not since she had escaped from Calmoren. Her main focus was finding a place to settle and start searching for her family. She knew she had a brother here and she wanted to find him. Aly knew little of her family, having been taken when she was only an infant. A small frown appeared on her lips as she got near the stables. She jumped down as a stableboy ran to take the horse. She waved him away, telling him gently that she had got this. He nodded and left, confusion clouded his face. Alyissa sighed as she lead Brownie into am empty stable next to another horse. She rubbed the mare down and fed her apples. Alyissa looked down and noticed she was trembling. Calm down Aly, she told herself. Relax and you'll be fine.
It wasn't as if she was going to barge into the kings and queens lives all of a sudden. The thought made her blush with shame. She didn't want to be a burden to anyone. She just wanted somewhere to stay until she found her brothers. And until she was settled down. "Everything is complicated, girl," Ali murmured to the mare sadness shown in her eyes as she smoothed her plain, and somewhat torn, white dress. It was a good thing she looked plain. She didn't want to be noticed. "What am I going to do?" she muttered, resting her head on the wall.
Alyissa had little experience with royality, having been raised in Calmoren. She had the Calmoren accent to prove it as well. She knew little on how to deal and talk to them. Maybe I should act like a slave....that wasn't hard to do at all. It has been a few months since she had left Lord Marcus. But she still thought as a slave. Alyissa sighed and slid down the wall, her expression confused and yet thoughtful. There was going to be a lot of talking and pleading if she wanted to stay here, she thought. Aly rested her head on her arm, lost in thought.

The sound of footsteps echoed among the halls of Cair Paravel, along with the swishing sounds of a dress. The footsteps and dress belonged to the youngest of the old rulers of narnia, her long brown hair flowing out behind her down to the middle of her back. The dress was a red color with white and gold trim on the sleeves and across the bust area, she wore light shoes so that they didn't make too much noise as she made her way down the hall.Another day had started in narnia and everyone was already busy either preparing meals or in the kitchens, some folding sheets and table clothes or whispering and giggling among themselves. The young queen came into the huge grand dining area, seeing a huge assortment of fruit just itching to be tasted.Plucking a apple from the top of the pile, she headed out of the dining area now going outside.
Taking a bite of the apple and chewing then swallowing she headed out a west door, going down some steps and passing a few narnians who just bowed they're heads in respect and went up the way she had just come from.Watching them for a momment she took another bite of the apple and continued on,maybe she would go down towards the beach for abit or look around for her siblings unless they we're busy with something or still sleeping. As she came near the stables,Lucy decided to peek in on the animals and give them some treats even though the stableboy probably spoiled them already.
Peeking around the corner she saw the stableboy walk pass her, saying sorry then bowing and continuing on his way.Well what had that been all about, she took another bite from the apple and went inside the stable glancing around. Her eyes fell upon some of the horses that we're in they're stalls,a few of them belonged to her brother's and Susan and one belonged to her.Going over to the stall where her horse was kept it welcomed her with a neigh,Lucy smiled and patted it's nose then fed it the rest of the apple.
"I think your getting fat girl, time to cut back on the carrots and apples".
The mare snorted shaking her mane, the young queen simple smiling again. It was better to have a fat well fed horse then a skinny one, after giving it another pat on the nose she went to leave the stables until she noticed a girl against one of the walls. Now there we're alot of servants at Cair Paravel, but this girl seemed different.
"Excuse me,but are you lost".

Alyissa was deep in her thoughts she didn't noticed she had company until she heard a voice.
"Excuse me,but are you lost"
Her head snapped up, her expression changed to alarming. It wasn't until she took a good look at the young person did she relax and scrambled to her feet, curtsying. She didn't expect anyone to come at the stables so soon. "No my lady, I was just-" Aly's voice trailed off as she eyed the girl. Her eyes grew wide as she realised that the young girl was the youngest Pevensie, Lucy. Alyissa didn't know much about about them, having been left out of everything. Her reading was also a bit off....she shook her head. A bit off? She scoffed at herself. Marcus did not want to teach her to write more notably how to read. "She's already stupid as it is," she pulled his rough voice out of her mind. "We don't really need to educate the slave,"
"Forgive me majesty," Alyissa spoke, her voice was soft. She made eye contact with the ground. Just the way she was taught. "I didn't know it was you. I didn't recognize you at first," but now I know, she thought. There was no chance she would make the same mistake again. Not unless she wanted to be whipped. The thought made her wince ever so slightly. It also made another quetsion popped into her mind. What do they do to those who misbehave here? she wandered with a small frown. Do they beat them like Lord Marcus did back home? Aly hoped not. She bit down on her lower lip, her expression was troubled looking.
She forced a poliet smile to replace the frown. Her hands were linked behind her back. Her gaze was to the ground. She wandered how to start the next set of conversation. Should she tell her know or later? She decided to start now. "Um..your majesty.....I was wandering...if you won't mind letting me stay here while I search for my famliy..I know my oldest brother is living here....I just need somewhere to stay for a while. I won't be a burden," her whole body tensed as she waited.

It was a beautiful day in Narnia. Peter had risen early, and seeing it was such a wonderful morning, decided he would take a ride across the lands and marvel at their beauty. He had eagerly dressed, rushing downstairs. Many of the servants did their best to get him to eat something. It smelled delicious, but he merely took an apple, smiling as he bit into it. “Go enjoy the day.” After giving them a fleeting glance, he headed towards the stable, not taking his time as he approached, letting his eyes cast over every last blade of grass. There wasn’t a single thing he did not love about Narnia. It was much more like home to him than London.
As he arrived, the stable boy had already gotten his horse ready. Smiling and graciously thanking him, he climbed into the saddle and began his rounds of the lands. He started off with a walk, allowing his steed’s legs to be loosened up a bit. After some time, they accelerated into a trot, a canter, and eventually, a gallop across the wide, open fields. Feeling the wind bite into his face, he could only smile. It was truly the perfect day there. He didn’t even have to guide his horse. Not only his mount, his horse was more of his companion. They wandered along after their wild gallop at a smoothing canter. Peter found he passed many Narnians, out doing their daily works. They would smile and bow their heads in greeting. He would wave to them, sometimes yell out. Maybe even once or twice he’d stop for a chat. And after a good, long ride, he’d head back to Cair Paravel, where his castle, and a brilliant lunch would be waiting.
Walking into the stable, the stable boy wasn’t around, but that was fine with Peter. He wanted to take the tack off his horse, and then rub him down. Smiling as he made his way down the stable aisle way, his horse’s hooves clicked against the concrete in a metallic way. However, his attention was distracted when his saw dear Lucy leaning over a stall with an unfamiliar horse, talking.
Moving forward and firmly holding the reins of his own horse, he approached Lucy. Looking into the stall he saw not only an unfamiliar horse, but an unfamiliar young woman. Confusion spread over his face. He heard just the end of her words, where she asked if she were able to stay there for a while, in order to find her brother. He looked back towards Lucy, and before Lucy was given a chance to speak, he grinned looking in at the girl. “Greetings Lucy and Ms… Sorry I did not catch your name.” He paused, stroking his horse slightly while he waited to speak again. “So Lu, do you think we should let her stay?” He asked playfully, smiling at his youngest sister, who he had always had a bit of a soft spot for.
ooc; sorry, i hope you don't mind me interrupting xD

[/i] After giving a small pat to his horse, Edmund quietly stepped to the side and observed the scene. His younger sister and older brother were standing there, speaking to a girl Edmund had never seen before. He walked over to the circle and smiled to the girl, then looked down at Lucy, a questioning look on his face. He turned to the high king, a smirk now pulling across his pink lips. He knew Peter was just playing around, and he would have said something rude, not actually meaning it, just a joke, but the girl seemed like she was going to be beat at any moment. He just stood there, not knowing what to do or say. One small comment may be wrong, especially when Edmund was speaking. [/size][/ul]

"It's quite alright,no need to worry".
This was quite a shock to find someone hiding in the stables, could that be why the stable boy didn't say anything when he had passed earlier.Lucy tilted her head from side to side trying to get a better look at the girl who was now standing before her,her dress was abit torn and plain it didn't have any color to it but the young queen was more concerned on how come this girl was hiding in the stables and had not come up to the main castle.Seeing the girl's gaze go towards the ground, and she spoke once again this time she had asked if she could stay here for awhile just till she found her brother.Just as she was about to answer that question, she looked over to see her eldest brother Peter.
"Hello Peter,I sort of found this girl just sitting at the back of the stable".
The youngest Pevensie glanced back over to the girl, now that she thought about it the girl hadn't given her name when she had addressed her.It was alright since it seemed that Peter was trying to do just that, but Lucy could tell just from looking at the girl she was scared or frightened could that be why she hid in here.A big smile was upon the young queen's lips her eyes back on Peter,as she gave a nod to him.
"Yes it's better then staying in here,so what do you think want to come up to the castle".
Her gaze went back towards the girl, she could get something to eat and cleaned up abit.Everyone was so kind here and was treated as a equal, and anyone who was a friend of the narnians or of Aslan was welcomed. She shifted her gaze up towards her other brother who had just joined in this little circle, seeing his questioning look.It seemed they we're all here, the only one missing was Susan.

Alyissa's ears perked up as she heard the sound of footsteps. She immediately stiffened, every sense of her body was on high alert as the high king of Narnia strolled in. She sank into a curtsy, barely wobbling, it was the way she had been taught unfortaunly. "Alyissa," her voice was no more than a whisper. "Alyissa Innes, sire," She flinched as she spoke, hating the slightly Calmoren accent in her voice. Aly wanted to ask more. She wanted to know if her brother was here or not. But she knew better than that. She bit down on her lower lip, her expression was troubled. Her head snapped up as Peter asked Lucy if she could stay. She hoped that they would let her.
She slowly raised her head, which had been eying the ground when she addressed Peter. Aly eyed the younger king of Narnia. She half smiled as her cheeks turned crimson. She quickly eyed the ground, biting the inside of her left cheek to keep herself from saying anything else. Finally, out of desperation, she turned to Peter. "Someone said I would be able to find one of my oldest brothers here. They said he worked as a knight for you sir," she hoped he would somehow recognize her last name. But it was a false hope, however. But a girl can hope nonetheless.
The young girl slowly raised her head to look at Lucy, a smile was gracing her lips. Her eyes glittered. "Really?" her voice was still soft. "You won't mind if I stay here?" she hated the Calmoren accent in her voice. It was annoying and it representated everything that Ali had ever hated. But she wandered why her accent was just like the royal siblings that where in front of her. She frowned slightly, lost in thought for several moments until her horse gently nudged her.
Smiling, she turned around and rubbed the mare's nose while glancing at the siblings. "I can do most, if not all, the housework," she spoke. Aly was fairly reminded of how Lord Marcus had told her when she was eight that she would do the housework. It was to the credit of her living with them. He wanted her to earn her keep. She started trembling, but she stopped herself, fearing the queen and kings would thtink of her as mad. She had forgotten that she didn't answer Lucy's question. She smiled and curstied. "Of course I would love to go to the castle majesty....if thats...alright with your siblings,"

It was actually a decent day for Narnia. It was admittedly still cloudy, of course, but not so much that it was dreary. It was one of those days where you could do anything that you set your mind to. Arianna, however, for some incomprehensible reason thought it'd be a good day to do nothing. Caspian, or King Caspian as she probably should think of him, had groaned about meetings or something along that line over breakfast, and Arina figured that the other Pevensies would be the same. She didn't really have many friends, so she decided to stay home. Ha. Cair Paravel was home to her now-she still hadn't been able to wrap her head around it.
Really, Arianna had thought it'd be much harder. Not that she was complaining, really, but she'd imagine a lot more adventures. Of course, she also imagined her running away from the Telmar court as hiding away in the forest, a rogue female warrior. But chancing upon the runaway prince, of all people, changed that. They had stuck out for each other, continuing to do so. Of course, Caspi started having the Narnian King thing stuck in his head, and his easy-going older brother act started blowing up all over her, him being crazy over protective over her. It would have been far more irritating if she didn't love the castle so much. One problem, though, was how that other than Caspian and the Pevensies the fourteen year old hardly had any friends. She respected a lot of people, and some return the courtesy-although in slight surprise, seeing as she was still a Telmarine-but few actual friends. Not many people her age, to be honest.
Arianna was currently outside of the castle on the grounds, under one of the trees with a book in her hand. Perhaps Queen Susan was rubbing off on her, although admitedly, it was not a factual book but a romance-meets-comedy-meets-mystery one, whatever that was supposed to mean. Breathe My Name. It was a decent book, although it kind of confused her. She kept reading in hopes that she would figure out what everything meant. What it stood for. She was currently on the fifth chapter and things were starting to make a bit more sense to her. Something hit her head, distracting her from the book. She scrunched her nose up and looked up at the tree leaves, then down beside her. Just a twig.
But things were never as they appeared, something the girl was still trying to learn. A chorus of giggles sounded above her head, followed by a rustle of leaves above he. Arianna got to her feet, book forgotten, frowning at the branches above her. The girl was not much of a climber, and wasn't quite what you'd call a fan of heights. Without warning, something dark shot from the tree, above her head of running away. Arianna hesitated once more, still slightly new to the world of mischievous creatures that were supposedly extinct, but another peal of laughter unfroze her, and she ran after it.
For what seemed to be but a large ball of black fur with two feet, it was pretty fast, and Arianna laughed as she chased it. She knew she was acting more four than fourteen, and would be scolded horribly if she was caught behaving in such a manner by one of her lady in waitings, but she couldn't bring herself to care. It shot towards the stables, and clutching her side, she ran after, alternating between calling out out and gasping for breath. The other entrance to the stables were blocked, she knew, and she delighted at having her new little friend blocked.
It happened so quickly, Arianna seeing the four people there as she turned to corner into the entrance, before she collided into one of them. Hard. Arianna ended up on the floor, sputtering with surprise--and pain. She had banged her head pretty hard on the cold stone floor, seeing not stars but flashes of color. Disappointing, really-she had never had a hard enough collision to see stars, and would love the chance to.
She sat up, grimacing. "Look where you're going, Edmund," she groaned jokingly, blinking back embarrassing tears of pain. Oh, yeah, the girl definitely needed to learn her place, but she had grown far too used to it. She looked up at the others, grudgingly embarrassed to face them. They were probably more than used to her little escapades, but it was still rather idiotic of her. Her cheeks flushed a mortified red, however, and the mischief in her eyes immediately dulled. The other was obviously a Telmarine-Arianna could tell that from the mere look of the girl-and Arina hated being reminded of her past. She scrambled up, looking almost frightened, and sank into a quick curtsy, eyes on the floor.
The older girl looked oddly familiar, and Arianna wondered where she had seen the girl before. The court, perhaps. Probably a member of the Telmarine nobility like Arianna herself is. Was. She was undoubtedly in exile by than. "Your hignesses, my lady," she greeted them, sounding hilariously demure for someone whom had just entered laughing like a loon. Arianna stayed in her curtsy, only rising when she was implored to-like she was supposed to. She hadn't acted so...ladylike in ages-it angered her to think she still had it in her.

"Hello Peter,I sort of found this girl just sitting at the back of the stable". He smiled as he looked at the girl. She looked quite frightened, which was a surprise to him. Normally, when people confronted the kings and queens of Narnia, they knew they it would be a friendly exchange. There was certainly nothing to be afraid of. All of them were quite nice. Lucy played along with his words, telling the stranger that she could stay with them. Of course she could. He would never turn someone away, unless they were enemies of Narnia. This girl, however, seemed genuine.
Her reaction to his presence was a bit amusing, to say the least. He did feel a bit guilty though. There was no need for her to feel so embarrassed at the sight of him. He smiled kindly at her, hoping that she understood he was not going to punish her, or be mean to her. None of them ever would, of course! She spoke her name and he committed it to memory. Alyissa Innes. Remembering the face and piecing it with her name, he smiled once again at her, this time it was one of encouragement, hoping she would lighten up a bit and be less frightened of them.
She then spoke of her brother, and he smiled. “Well, we shall see if your brother is part of my company as soon as we can.” Grinning, he paused before speaking again. “We’ll get you settled in first, then we can discuss finding your brother. If that is alright with you?” He asked, hoping she was okay with that.
He listened to her, smiling once more at the excitement in her voice when Lucy said she could stay. He leaned against the stall doorway, amusement playing over his features. And then she said she could do their housework, as if they would allow their guest to do anything but relax and enjoy her stay in Narnia. Edmund spoke for him, and Peter nodded. “Thank you, Edmund.” He paused, looking back at Alyissa. “You’re the guest. You’ll be doing nothing but enjoying your time with us.” He smiled, hoping that she was getting the point. No one was going to be rude to her in any way.
Edmund quickly blurted out his acceptance of Alyissa heading off to the castle. Peter looked towards his younger brother, who was blushing faintly. Amused, Peter stifled a laugh. Perhaps Edmund had a little crush? Elbowing his brother lightly, he smiled, giving Edmund a knowing look. “Of course. Shall we head up?” He asked, his head moving in the direction of where their castle stood.
However, before anyone was able to respond, Arianna and Edmund had somehow collided. And then before he could help her up, she was on her feet, giving a curtsy. Which was far from necessary. “Well, hello Arianna.” He paused, smiling at the younger girl. “What an entrance that was.” Laughing, he looking once more to Alyissa, making sure she was doing okay.
